Darkness
Opaque Darkness reveals a deep and dark color. Aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and dark chocolate fill the glass and are mirrored on the rich, broad palate. French and American oak barrels add notes of spice to this concentrated wine, which finishes with a touch of brown sugar, mineral, and spice.

Zinfandel
The word ‘opaque’ means “impenetrable to light” and refers to the dark, inky color of our Zinfandel. For Opaque Zinfandel reveals distinctive ripe flavors of red raspberry, boysenberry and wild berries. The long finish has accents of spice and dark cocoa.

Malbec
This is a classic Malbec with deep purple/red color and lovely aromatics of violets and ripe blueberries. In the mouth, concentrated blueberry and dark plum flavors are joined by a fresh streak of red fruit along with accents of vanilla, spice and traces of minerality. With nice acidity and great texture, this is a supremely well-balanced wine with a soft, round midpalate, silky tannins and a persistent finish.

Petit Verdot
Opaque Petit Verdot lives up to its namesake, with a deep, dark red color that promises a profoundly rich and satisfying wine. Blackberry, currant and black plum dominate the palate, supported by mocha and vanilla crème. This Petit Verdot shows great concentration and texture, spicy richness, and tannins. The wine has a long, powerful finish and the structure to age beautifully for a decade at least.

Tannat
Tannat is named from a French word referring to “tanned” for its deep color. The wine reveals concentrated black plum and blueberry aromas with a touch of dry earth and leather. On the palate, it is dense with dark fruit flavors and a peppery spice with structured tannins that provide texture and depth with a lengthy finish.
